Cincinnati West and Hamilton
Welcome to Young Rembrandts!
The Power of Drawing
Drawing is the fundamental skill of the visual arts that can - and should - be learned by all children.
Young Rembrandts teaches the drawing skills children need while developing learning skills that give children an academic advantage in the classroom.
Young Rembrandts is an exciting art program for children in the Cincinnati area!
What do we do? In each week's new exciting (and kid-tested!) lesson, we use a step-by-step method that assures every student is a creative success. As we learn and use technical drawing skills, we discover that all complex objects can be broken down into familiar shapes; then use problem solving skills, innovation, and imagination to put them all together into eye-popping masterpieces!
Drawing Out a World of Potential
Children need art. Why? Because art does more than simply delight the eye and cultivate creativity. Research points to a strong correlation between involvement in the arts and achievement in the classroom.
We teach the drawing skills children need. Our curriculum introduces concrete ideas and techniques that enlarge and enrich their visual vocabularies, their imaginations and their minds.
Preschool (3-1/2 to 5 years old) Young Rembrandts provides a strong educational foundation for young learners. Our curriculum helps develop fine motor skills and learning skills that are essential to future classroom success.
Elementary (6 to 12 years old) Young Rembrandts offers drawing classes, cartooning and specialty camps. Students learn advanced art techniques including portraiture, perspective and color theory, as well as art history.
Young Rembrandts may have been part of your child's after-school programs in the past. To bring back Young Rembrandts or to find out how easy it is to bring our award winning, skill-enhancing, and affordable program to your school.
