The Power of Art

Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures.

Welcome to Young Rembrandts in SW Denver, Monument & Colorado Springs

Our curriculum is based on an acclaimed, step-by-step drawing method that works hand-in-hand with our original, innovative curriculum developed by a team of artists and educators.  Our singular approach is designed to tap into the three modalities children use to learn: visual, auditory and tactile/kinesthetic.  Our step-by-step curriculum and tiered lesson plans for a sequential, ordered teaching process.

Preschool (3 1/2 to 5 years) Young rembrandts provides a strong educational foundation for young learners.  In addition to expanding young students' image vocabularies, our curriculum helps develop fine motor skills and learning skills that are essential to future classroom success.

Elementary (6 to 12 years)  Our elementary-age curriculum is designed to teach basic to advanced drawing skills, art techniques and vocabulary.  Young Rembrandts offers drawing classes, cartooning and specialty camps.  Students learn advanced art techniques including portraiture, perspective and color theory, as well as art history.

Of course, abouve all Young Rembrants is FUN!  We intentionally offer child friendly and relevant subject matter to spark children's interest and increase knowledlge retention, never losing sight that children learn best when they are engaged and entertained.
