Young Rembrandts Business Opportunity
Franchise FAQs
Am I making a commitment by applying?
No, there is no commitment. An application is the first step in gathering basic information for both Young Rembrandts and the applicant. The business development team is here to answer your questions so you can make informed decisions.
What are the costs involved in opening a Young Rembrandts Franchise?
The Young Rembrandts franchise fee is $31,500. Additional start-up costs are minimal and comprised of standard business equipment such as a home computer and relevant software. Young Rembrandts is a true home-based business with no real-estate purchases or rentals necessary resulting in relatively low overhead.
Are there hidden costs?
No, Young Rembrandts does not have hidden costs or profit centers. Classroom materials and basic operational equipment are not purchased through corporate vendors, which allow owners to seek the best prices for their individual needs. Young Rembrandts has established relationships with preferred business partners and does require that proprietary materials be purchased from our vendors at competitive cost.
Do I have to be an artist to own a Young Rembrandts Franchise?
No, you don't have to be an artist to operate a successful Young Rembrandts Franchise. Young Rembrandts Inc. provides all curriculum and comprehensive teaching and training materials. What we are looking for however, are applicants who:
- Understand the concept that franchising is a TEAM effort - and that you are part of a system of owners who all share a common goal and work together to grow a business.
- Have strong business acumen, and a strong commitment to success.
- Have people and networking skills. This is a managerial model - as an owner you are responsible for managing a staff of instructors and obtaining accounts.
- Are passionate about improving education, making a difference in their communities, and enriching the lives of children.
Where are classes held?
Young Rembrandts is a home-based business. Our franchisees work out of their home office, managing classes that are held in host locations, such as private and public schools, pre-schools and daycare centers, park districts, libraries, and community centers. These are considered "accounts" and franchisee owners are responsible for obtaining and servicing these accounts.
Will I be teaching the classes?
No, your key responsibilities as a franchisee are to hire and train a staff of part time instructors and run the day-to-day operations of managing and growing your franchise.
