Drawing is the fundamental skill of the visual arts that can - and should - be learned by all children.
Young Rembrandts teaches the drawing skills children need while developing learning skills that give children an academic advantage in the classroom.
NEW SPRING LESSONS!
Spring art is ready, classrooms are being booked… are you ready to register? Young Rembrandts teaches drawing to children aged 3 ½ to 12. We intentionally teach relevant subjects to spark children’s interest and boost their memory skills. We believe EVERY child can learn to draw – and in Young Rembrandts, we’re showing them how.
If you have yet to register, there still is time!
<color="blue"> NEW Sessions begin the week of April 1st. Spring consists of 4-5 weeks of Elementary and 5 weeks of Cartooning.
Save 10% by enrolling in both!
Using our unique 30+ year method students will also improve their fine motor skills, patience levels, focus and ability to stay on task. Best of all, they'll gain a new found confidence in a skill they never knew existed - the ability to say "I can do it!" And yes, all that learning comes with a big bunch of fun.
If Young Rembrandts is offered in your school, check out our classes by clicking on "Find A Class". If we're not - find out how easy it is to bring our award-winning, skill-enhancing, and affordable program to your school by contacting Amy James at email@example.com.
How does it work?
Our classes begin promptly, 5 minutes after the final bell, in a designated location at your child's school. A reminder email is sent to the registered adult a couple days before the first class. We encourage parents to remind their students, student's teacher and child care as well. Incredibly, we draw a new lesson every week with our students. While utilizing basic shapes to draw, students learn art terms, techniques, art history and more.
At the end of class children are dismissed according to their registration form (pick-up, walk home or child care). Pick up students are released to an adult after class and walk home students are allowed to leave on their own. Students attending an on-site child care will walk together as a group to the location. Students are expected to be picked up promptly at the end of class or late fees may be applied.
Each week's art is displayed at the school (when possible) and will be returned to students the following week. Be sure to ask them about their drawing, what they learned and how much fun they had each week! It is amazing to see the progress and capabilities these little ones have.
