All supplies are included. Your child doesn’t need to bring anything. And because we’re use no-mess supplies you won’t be washing smocks or dealing with paint covered clothes!

Yes! Our summer programs vary in offerings. We have weekly classes, intensive workshops and occasionally offer one-off classes. You can find us in your community centers, summer schools and day camps.

Classes are often held RIGHT after school at your child’s school. However, we do offer classes in community centers and daycare

We teach your child how to draw. But along with this skill comes incredible development in many other areas such as; fine motor skills, social skills, academics, creativity, intellectual skills and out of the box thinking.

Due to the safety of all our students we do not allow food in the Young Rembrandts classroom.

No… your child drew that! Young Rembrandts starts with a blank piece of paper and through step-by-step instruction we show students how to complete a new drawing every class.

Questions Regarding Accounts

We can teach anywhere; a classroom, the library, the gym… our program is no mess, so we don’t have to be in the art room. All we need are tables and chairs in your school.

Every enrichment program has their own benefits – Young Rembrandts offers a right-brain activity taught in a left-brain method to enhance your students learning skills. Our classes are awesome and every week students go home with a completed piece of work, a host of new vocabulary and a massive smile.

Yes! We’ve been a part of Parent’s Night, Back to School events, Visiting Field Trips etc.… Connect with your local owner to learn more about their availability.

Our teachers are hired and trained by each local owner. Our artists have a passion for teaching art and are excited to bring it to your school’s children.  All instructors are background checked and if needed, VIRTUS trained.

We take care of everything! Depending on your school’s individual needs we will work to make sure our partnership is an added benefit to your school, not a burden.

Yes! We mostly connect with our parents via email; sharing lesson summaries, special events, discounts and news on upcoming classes. But we also connect with them via phone if parents have questions or concerns about our classes.

Parents can enroll in our program using our website. In some instances, our education partners can take their own enrollment and we will invoice the partner.

No! Schools with existing art programs are so lucky and we love art teachers. Our program is not trying to take jobs away from your staff – but simply add to the powerful work they do every day in class. YR classes build a foundation for art so your students can be more successful and find more pleasure in doing art in class and as the progress into high education.

Questions by Teachers

Yes, Young Rembrandts instructors go through training that is explicit to Young Rembrandts philosophy and methodology. Instructor training will be provided by the local Franchisee who hires the instructor. Details on length of training will also be provided by the local Franchisee.

Young Rembrandts instructors do not have to have a K to 12 teaching certificate. However, there is a requirement for a background check, and there may be additional requirements regarding fingerprinting and other certificates when teaching for a specific Young Rembrandts Franchisee.

No, the Young Rembrandts Franchisee will provide all supplies necessary to teach the class and provide materials for the students.

No, Young Rembrandts provides all curriculum to be taught in a Young Rembrandts drawing class or workshop.
